The Personnel OfficeHere you can meet all the fantastic musicians and singers who have been on the payroll at JGMusik ApS over the years.
Every big company has a 'Personnel Office’. Much can be said about JGMusik ApS as a firm with a worldwide reputation :-), but the permanent staff consists of only two people – that’s Miriam and myself. So what do we want with a 'Personnel Office’ here on the website? Well – even if Jan Glæsel’s Band is known for being ‘only 6 men who sound like 20', over the years considerable number of able musicians have passed through to work on the various projects. We have had a delightful mixture of experienced musicians, combined with a large number of raw talents that I have always had an 'ear' for discovering out there. I am extremely proud of having worked with all the musicians and singers who have participated over the years, and I hope the feeling is mutual. ‘The product’ has always been delivered by everyone, with a surplus into the bargain, and that ‘little bit extra’ has always made me feel proud of the final outcome – every time! Most of the projects I have been involved in have been big, and they have usually lasted a long time. This has meant that some musicians passed up a project, because they had other obligations at the time in question. So as musical director, I had the opportunity to meet new musicians in the individual positions – and with the passage of time, my telephone contact list has grown very long :-) On the following sub-pages of 'The Personnel Office' you will find the list of the many fantastic musicians who have helped to move a few musical ‘boundaries’ over the years. * 1st Generation * 2nd Generation * 3rd Generation A large number of them have agreed to send a small picture and a suitable CV, while others have not yet sent any info, but they are very welcome – info can be sent via 'Contact’.
